Stanley Trademark Stamps

 

The following reference guide provides examples of Stanley’s trademark stamps from 1872 to the present. It is by no means comprehensive or complete.  As with type studies, overlaps may be observed, but this covers the main trademarks and approximate dates of use. There were often variations used on block planes and other tools. Generally, the same marks were used on all Stanley tools being produced at the time.
